A running answer to the only fair question: had you followed the calls, what would you have made? For every coin, a simulated account trades the coin against USD on Coinbase, buying on Buy, selling on Sell and sitting still on Hold, next to simply buying and holding since the same start.

A simulation, not trading advice. Each strategy starts with one unit of USD when the coin first had a price and a reading, buys the coin when its call turns to Buy (score +24 or more with confidence 40 or more), sells back to USD when it turns to Sell, and does nothing on Hold. Fills at that minute’s Coinbase spot rate with a 0.6% fee per fill, no slippage. Edge is the return minus buy & hold over the same period. Select a coin for its equity curve and fills.

How this is computed

Six strategies per coin: one follows the coin’s overall call, the others follow the combined reading of a single window (5 min, 15 min, 1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day). Each starts with one unit of USD on the first minute the coin had a price and a scored reading, and is long-only: a Buy call moves everything into the coin, a Sell call moves it back to USD, Hold leaves whatever is held.

A call changes only when the score clears a direction threshold by a margin of 4: Hold becomes Buy at +24 and a Buy only falls back to Hold below +16, the same on the Sell side. Readings with confidence below 40, late-window readings and missing readings leave the held call unchanged. This is the same rule the live announcements in the header use. A strategy trades whenever its held call disagrees with its position, so the very first call is acted on, and a flip seen on a minute without a price fills at the next minute that has one.

Fills happen at that minute’s Coinbase spot rate, an index rate rather than an order book, with a fee of 0.6% of the amount per fill and no slippage. Buy & hold buys at the same start with one fee. Round trips, win rate and average trade count completed buy-then-sell pairs; the open position is shown on its own. Coins without a Coinbase USD market are not simulated. The curve keeps a point every 15 minutes for 48 hours, one an hour for 30 days and one a day beyond.

The numbers are in the API as results.json and results/{coin}.json; the rule and its thresholds are on the methodology page. A simulation of a snapshot of what traders were willing to pay is not a forecast, and none of this is financial advice.
