Support and FAQ

Most questions about the readings are answered below. For anything about your Cryptohopper account, bot or subscription, Cryptohopper's own support team is the place to go.

The signals

How a reading works

What Buy, Sell and Hold mean, how often they update and why a reading is not a forecast. The full rules are on the methodology page.

Cryptohopper

Your account, bot or subscription

PolySignals.net is run by Cryptohopper, whose team handles account, billing and hopper questions. Human support is available Monday to Friday, 16:00 to 00:00 Amsterdam time, with an AI chatbot outside those hours.

Developers

Building on the data

The JSON API and the MCP server are free, need no key and share one limit: 50 requests per 10 seconds per IP.

Follow the signals with a Cryptohopper bot

The daily regime strategy is relayed to Cryptohopper as buy and sell signals, for every Cryptohopper exchange. Subscribe to the PolySignals.net signaler and your hopper trades each call; its fills and returns so far are on the Results page.

Frequently asked questions

The readings

What is a PolySignals.net reading?

Prediction markets run rolling Up or Down markets: will a coin close the next 5 min, 15 min, 1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day window higher than it opened? The price of the Up share is the crowd's implied chance that it will. PolySignals.net reads those prices from Polymarket, Kalshi, Limitless and Gemini, plus daily readings implied by Binance, Deribit, Bybit and OKX options, blends them into a score from -100 to +100 and shows Buy, Sell or Hold with a 0-100 confidence.

What do Buy, Sell and Hold mean?

Buy means the market prices the current window to close up (score +20 or more), Sell means it prices it to close down (-20 or less), Hold means it is close to even. Past ±60 the reading is strong. They describe what traders are paying right now, not what will happen.

Is a reading a forecast?

No. A window reading mostly restates how far the coin has already moved since the window opened, so it is a readout of the crowd's price, not a prediction. Following the minute-by-minute calls loses money after fees, and the Results page shows exactly how much.

How often does the site update?

The collector reads every venue about every 30 seconds and the board refreshes every 15 seconds while the tab is open. When the feed falls behind, the page says the data is delayed.

Why does a coin have a daily call but no windows?

Some coins are tracked only for the daily regime rule because no prediction market or options venue lists them. They get a trend call once a day and appear on the regime board of the Results page, but have no window readings or history.

Signals on Cryptohopper

Can my Cryptohopper bot follow PolySignals.net?

Yes. PolySignals.net is a signaler on the Cryptohopper Marketplace (https://www.cryptohopper.com/signaller?signaller_id=753). Subscribe to it there and your hopper receives a buy or sell signal whenever the daily regime strategy changes its call. Cryptohopper's guide "Follow signals with your Hopper" walks through the settings.

Which signals are sent to Cryptohopper?

Only the daily regime strategy: long while the Coinbase daily close sits more than one daily sigma above its 50-day average, flat once it falls more than one sigma below, decided at 00:05 UTC. That is about five round trips a year per coin, so weeks can pass between signals. The minute-level window readings are never relayed.

Why did my hopper not receive a signal?

A hopper only receives a signal when its exchange and quote currency match the signal exactly. Signals go to every Cryptohopper exchange for the coin's USD-pegged markets (and EUR on Coinbase). Cryptohopper also limits how many signals a signaler can send per minute, so on a busy day a signal can arrive minutes after the decision; one still waiting four hours later is dropped.

Which hopper settings work best with these signals?

Buy signals carry a 15 % stop-loss hint, which your hopper applies only if you enable it. Turn off the hopper's own take-profit: the strategy leaves a position when its call turns flat, not at a profit target, and a take-profit would sell out of a trend early.

Who do I contact about my Cryptohopper account, bot or subscription?

Cryptohopper support, through the Help Center at https://support.cryptohopper.com/en/. Human support is available Monday to Friday, 16:00 to 00:00 Amsterdam time; outside those hours an AI chatbot answers and a person follows up on the next business day.

API and AI assistants

Is the API free, and do I need a key?

Yes, it is free, and no key or sign-up is needed. Every number on the site comes from a few JSON files served over HTTPS with open CORS. It is a best-effort feed without an uptime guarantee, so cache on your side.

What are the API limits?

Up to 50 requests per 10 seconds per IP across /api/ (JSON, live markdown and the MCP server together). Above that the API answers 429 for 10 seconds. Polling faster than a file's Cache-Control returns the same file.

Can I use PolySignals.net in ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor?

Yes. Add the MCP server at https://polysignals.net/api/mcp: it is free, read-only and needs no key. The MCP page at https://polysignals.net/mcp/ has the setup for each client.
